Oct 26 07: Rattle and Clunk
If you’re one of those rare (and deeply appreciated) individuals who uses the comment or search functions here at Strange Radiation, you may have noticed that things are a little weird around here. Am working to fix that. It is possible to leave a comment here, although at times it may seem to you that things haven’t gone through as expected. Please continue to hold; your call is important to us.
To me, rather.
EDITED: Comments are fixed. The search page is going to require more intensive thought than I’m prepared to invest at 10 minutes to 1 on a Thursday night.
Oct 23 07: Oof.
I have no idea if it’s any good yet, but I just finished my first new story in ages. It has a very long title. It should have gone to the Cabal tonight for their perusal, because it’s on the slab at this Sunday’s meeting, but I’m going to read it at least one more time before that happens. With a fresh brain socketed into place.
Getting it written required standing up to yet another brutal round of bowel-clenching neurosis. Why do I let this scare me so badly? Because once I actually rolling — once I’ve got a few sentences in place, and that sense of writerly inertia goes from silent to blabbermouth — I do okay. Sort of. I’ll know better in the morning. And it’s even kind of fun. Anyway, the whole fear of writing thing tends to extend to blogs and LiveJournal and hell, answering my emails, so please accept my apologies if I’ve given the impression of being dead lately. I’m not. Will have quite a few things to say in the next day or two.
