Oct 6 06: the nephew marches on
My nephew Nathan is a year old today. He looks like this, only I imagine that most of the time he doesn’t have food all over him. One year ago today, I was scrambling out to Long Island to look after his big sister for the night while his parents were otherwise occupied. Happy birthday, sweet boy. Astonishing how fast the time has gone by, and how much has changed since then, and not just for you.

He does look happy. Must have been a banana birthday cake.
